Jiang Hao-Quan said that in order to live a long youthful and healthy life as he is doing, you must:
Not worry, be happy. When you worry and are unhappy, it is negative energy and weighs heavily on your body and your mind. That kind of stressful wear and tear on your mind and body, helps you age faster and weakens your chi - your body's energy. So it is best that you don't worry, and be happy.
Get 8 hours of sleep each day, so that your body and mind can rest and recharge.
Do 8 hours of hard work each day. The other 8 hours is your time to do your other things.
Stay active, move, do exercises every day - every day. (Dr. Jiang does Baguazhang, Taijiquan, Qi Gong, stretching, leg-raisers, push-ups and a few other exercises every morning.)
Have consistency in what you do. Be consistent in your training and exercise. Don't over indulge in your social activities.
Eat healthy. You can eat what you want, just make sure it is healthy food, but it is very important that you stay active and exercise, so that your body uses the food efficiently. That way you maintain and control your weight. If you are not active, your body will not efficiently use the food you eat, and the unused excess causes you to become over weight and unhealthy.
If you are a young person, strive to live into your 60's and 70's. If you are in your 60's and 70's, strive to live into your 80's and 90's. If you are in your 80's and 90's, strive to live as far past 100 years as you can.
Stay active.
