When Mohammad Ali (LC front row) visited China as World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Jiang Hao-Quan (RC front row) was sent as one of the official representatives that welcomed and met with Mohammad Ali. China considered Jiang Hao-Quan their Western style Boxing World Champion - he defeated over ten boxing masters from China, Europe and the United States during the 1940s
.

. Two of his friends in the picture are Lu Tzu-Chien (Lu Zi Jian) (LC) and Sha Guo Zheng (Sha Kuo-Cheng) (RC). Jiang Hao-Quan and Sha Guo Zheng were both Baguazhang students of Jiang Rong-Qiao (Chiang Jung Chiao). Lu Tzu-Chien is a long-time friend and has taught Jiang Hao-Quan a special Qi Gong that Lu feels is a significant key to his health and longevity.
