Huang Bo-Nian, known as "Huang Fast Hands" famous Baguazhang and Xingyiquan expert, was a teacher at the Nanjing Central Martial Arts Academy, one of the forms Master Huang learned was Dragon Form Eight Diagram Palm, which he learned from his teacher Li Cun Yi. Li Cun Yi inherited another style called Ch'uan Shi Pa Kua Chang, from the creator of Ba Gua Zhang (Dong Hai-Ch'uan). Master Li had passed this onto Master Huang whom continued to pass this knowledge onto his students. After Huang mastered the form he then refined it with the help of three other 1st generation masters from the Nanjing Academy (Jiang Rong-Qiao, Ma Hsin-Yun and Wang Yun-Peng). Together they created a new, extraordinary all-combative-skill style called Ch'uan Shi Ba Gua Zhang (Complete System Eight Diagram Palm).
